BlackPerl is a rock soul band based in Atlanta, Georgia. BlackPerl has been in existence for a decade, opening for the athletes at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and since playing and writing original music in Atlanta, New York and throughout the southeast. Most of the members of Blackperl are gospel-based musicians. The art of BlackPerl's music is telling the story on record and on the live stage.
