About
Billy's Great Grandfather was a Native American of the Oklahoma Cherokee Nation from Around Tishimingo, Oklahoma. His name was James Rainwater.
Billy' s Hobbies are wood working, repairing old Singer Sewing Machines and Grandfather clocks. He holds a Commerical Pilot's license and owns his own Piper four-place aircraft.
Billy had a good friend by the name of George McCoy from the Dallas, TX area, who passed on some of his skills to him on writting music and playing the Guitar. George has gone on to the Great Music Band above, gone but not forgotten. Billy Jack has recorded a few songs written by the great song writer and country Artist Lawton Williams. Lawton wrote such tunes as Farewell Party, Shame On Me, Frauline, and Everythings OK on the LBJ just to name a few. Lawton also taught Billy a number of tricks about peforming and writting songs. Lawton like George McCoy has passed through the pearly gates and is now playing the heavely harps. Both of these great writers will be missed by all who knew them.
Billy is a member of BMI
