Hailing originally from Yonkers New York, Indiana Jazz Hall of Fame guitarist Bill Lancton has been teaching and performing since 1973. Currently he heads up the Indianapolis based Bill Lancton Coalition, a seven piece jazz/funk organization that features Bill with three horns. In addition, he is a member of the IndyJazzFest All Star band, bringing Jazz to schools through sponsored concerts. Well, it's been a great two weeks, with Todd Johnson coming in for a week to stay, gig, and do clinics with me, and my friends Mark and Laurie coming in for a week to see Todd play and then just hang. We had two great nights of shows at The Jazz Kitchen, ate some great food...hey Todd, nice job on that pasta dish!
