we are approaching the 1 year birthday of the Virginia Bass Forum! We're going to have a few events throughout May to celebrate the Forum turning 1! On May 15th, at 7 PM, we're going to have a Bass Open Mic in the Pickers Supply concert hall. Double and electric bassists are encouraged to come and perform...classical, rock, originals, jazz, soloists, duos, looping...whatever you like. It's going to be a casual event, so bring a dish to share if you can. We can talk gear, compare basses and do research, and do some playing. Mondays Goldfish will be joining us to play some tunes, and other "bass forward" groups are also invited to join us! The event is free...so come join us to listen, to play, or to just talk bass.
