There aren't many bands that can claim to have invented a genre. There's Slayer - Speed Metal. Napalm Death invented Grind Core. Death were the originators of Death Metal and Venom gave name to Black Metal. Hellacopters spawned the expression ScandiRock. Michael Jackson invented Pop and Elvis; he gave us Rock. Thank you, Elvis!
