Q: Did you start as a guitarist or a bassist before picking up the Chapman Stick? Great sound that you get from that instrument!

A: Ronnie, I started on the guitar, but have played bass in rock fusion, funk bands for over 30 years. So I came at the instrument from a bass players perspective, but as I progressed I treat the stick as a hybrid: bass - guitar - piano. Thanks for the great question.
