About
WHO IS BERG?
A native of Gainesville, Florida, Berg is a professional singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee (original, eh?). He likes peanut butter, Apple computers, amusing himself with stupid jokes, and supporting his friends and fellow indie artists.
STYLE
Berg blends acoustic roots, folk and alternative rock with crafty lyrics and a pinch of pop sensibility... a recipe for engaging songs with artistic flare.
STAGE DAZE
Berg has shared the stage with national acts Shawn Mullins, Stroke 9, Brian Vander Ark (The Verve Pipe) and Big 10-4, as well as independent acts Gary Pfaff and Five Star Iris, and singer-songwriters Ernie Halter, Heather Combs, Akiva, Eric Skelton, Chuck Carrier, Dean Fields and Dave Pittenger. Berg has showcased at the prestigious Atlantis Music Conference (Atlanta, GA) and performed at such venues as The Knitting Factory (New York City), The Living Room (New York City), Genghis Cohen (Los Angeles), Uncommon Ground (Chicago, IL), Eddie's Attic (Atlanta) and Lestat's (San Diego).
BELIEVING & BEING
Berg's EP, Believing & Being, produced by Gary Pfaff and Tim Delaney at Electron Gardens Studio in Atlanta, features two tunes - "Still Here Waiting" and "Raining In Atlanta" - that also appear on a soundtrack for the independent film, Screw Cupid (written and directed by Jeeves Sirpal; audience award for best feature, 2008 Delray Beach Film Festival).
