Beoptamystic were formed in 2004 at the tail end of Glastonbury Festival. Decamping to central Portugal and an idylic secluded setting. they spent the next two years writng, recording and gigging before returning to the UK.

Two spectacular videos were created for the songs Maria and Sophia and the Monkeyman, Maria proving particularly popular with over 10000 hits over various sites.

March 2009 saw the release of the Optamysm EP via I-Tunes, Amazon. Beoptamystic have seen their star rise reaching number 7 in the Reverbnation National Dance/Electronica chart and number 23 in the World chart.

With more songs being recorded and and another video in production the future is bright indeed for Beoptamystic
