To recycle an old band bio cliche (because recycling is good!) Belsapadore is the brainchild of Justin Hoenke. The band consists of Justin Hoenke and a few selected musicians around him at that time, and usually lives only in the studio creating albums but sometimes comes out of the house to play a show or two.

Belsapadore began in 2003, when Hoenke's other musical project Zomo decided to go on hiatus. Justin then cooped himself in his home studio and compiled 2004's "the sun and the moon" which featured tracks recorded by Hoenke himself from 2003-2004. the eleven song album was recorded mostly in Washington state and features such tracks as "the sun and the moon" and "egg".

In early 2005, Hoenke then returned to Pennsylvania and met up with his old friend Aaron Dobler. The two quickly started recording Hoenke's newest batch of songs. The end product of 3 months of recording was the EP "a more colorful or easier somewhere else...". The EP was finished in the summer of 2005 and released shortly thereafter...

In 2006, belsapadore planned to record their third album, titled "the whale."

It was never meant to be. Aaron Dobler moved away in mid-2006, and the album was put on hold. In the meantime, Justin began recording a new Belsapadore album by himself.

Released on April 1st, 2007, the third Belsapadore album "everyone c'mon get happy" is Belsapadore's pop album. The album was finished in early 2007 and features 9 new songs by Belsapadore. Along with this album, the other two Belsapadore albums became available for order once again in 2007. The three albums were specially packaged as a trilogy, all handmade, limited to a special run of 150 copies total.

Currently, Belsapadore is doing something with some people. The three Belsapadore albums are in the planning stages for a full scale national release through Hoenke's own label, Arbacarba Records. More news to come...
