Belfast 6 Pack / Press

“Friday, July 18th was the start to yet another weekend of partying and rock/metal shows. Ah, the good life. Once again I was at one of my favorite venue's, Capone's in Johnson City, TN to watch a three band set headlined by Super Bob, a favorite of mine after seeing them open for Powerman 5000 back in May. The first band to take the stage was a local band from Knoxville, Belfast 6 Pack. Having never heard of them before, I went to the show with absolutely no expectations but to have a good time. Belfast 6 Pack definitely gave us a good time and also a good sound. In fact, they sounded way too good to be a local band. They had great energy and got everyone up on their feet. They played a diverse set, the highlights I believe were called Live, Laugh. Love, Fuck and Smoke Pot, Drink Beer. I would definitely go see them again. Sadly, but also awesomely, they moved around too much for me to get a good picture.”

"Every now and then, there comes along that one group of individuals, collectively united, to create that certain dynamic, that "it" factor that so many search for. Its something that can't be forced or manufactured.....when its real, its real. Its very hard to capture the proverbial "lightning in a bottle", but the 4 individuals collectively known as Belfast 6 Pack have not only captured the lightning, they are bringing the thunder. They have a style truly to their own that defies description and transcends the boundaries and restrictions of being lumped into a genre. I'd go as far to say Belfast is its own genre. Their music and energetic live shows appeal to fans of MUSIC, not just a certain "scene". If you're thirsty for a good time, your thirst shall be quenched by a 6 pack...a Belfast 6 Pack." “The explosion of Belfast 6 Pack to the rock/metal scene is simply overwhelming. The destructive force of these four highly talented musicians has taken Knoxville by storm in a whirlwind blend of catchy rock and skull-crushing metal. You can dance or you can headbang- these guys bring it all to the stage. No more clowning around, Belfast 6 Pack is the real deal. - James Baysinger (Metalholic Magazine)”

““It’s more of a collaboration of the four of us as musicians,” added Bane, an East Tennessee native raised in South Carolina who returned to Knoxville after four years as a U.S. Marine. “In Crome Molly, we came in and had to learn songs that were already written; with Belfast 6 Pack, we’re just having fun and playing together, and the next thing you know we have a song that’s fun to play. It’s a real representation of who we are.””

“The Birdhouse will be exploding with metal talent this Saturday so make plans NOW to be there. As Good As Dead, Belfast Six Pack, Psychosystem and Scent of Remains will be there in full skull-crushing force to show you the definition of pure metal destruction.”
