“Barry Waldrep is a mulit instrumentalist with years of experience on Acoustic Guitar, Telecaster, Banjo, and Mandolin, and many years of road experience as well. He is a speed demon on all these instruments, but also knows what to put in and what to leave out. Years of touring has made him a well oiled machine. He has toured, performed and recorded with a ton of great artist. Zac Brown Band (Pass the Jar), Randy Travis, (25th Anniversary Celebration) Joey & Rory (Album #2) and many, many others. In addition to being a hired gun for others, he performs with his band playing all the styles of music he has been influenced by. Bluegrass, Honky Tonk Country and Southern Rock. The influence of his father put him on the bluegrass trail very early in life, but he was also very heavily influenced by the southern rock sounds of The Allman Brothers Band and Charlie Daniels. He creates a blend of rip roaring riffs from all sides on whatever instrument he has in his hands.”
