Bio
Barfly are a 4-piece indie/alternative covers band with a bit of the eighties in their back pocket. From The Ramones and Department "S" right up to todays Kaiser Chiefs & The Killers, if you like your live music to have a bit of an edge, this is probably the band for you.
About
Barfly were formed in 2005 by Huwie Davies and Roland Rands who drafted in Don Smith on bass and Phil Lawson on drums to form the original line-up. Andrew Figliuzzi was brought in on guitar for a short period in 2006 and for a couple of years the band operated with two drummers, Phil Lawson sharing percussive reponsibilties with John Thomlinson. In 2008, Pete Fenwick joined the band as permanent drummer to complete the present line-up.
The band play a mix of indie/alternative covers along with some old eighties titles in the pubs of Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire and are slowly building a good reputation receiving some glowing reviews along the way.
