The Band Of Gypsyz were born when Shawn got together with friends Bret Alexander, Ron Simasek, Mark Tomeo and Paul Smith to record "Shawn Z. -  Wishful Drinkin' ". 

Worldwide airplay followed, as well as hitting #11 on the XM 'X-Country channel 12' charts after being on the charts for 14 weeks.

Since the release of " Wishful Drinkin' ", The Band Of Gypsyz have been on the road and gathered quite a following.. Featuring Shawn, Bret, Ron and new bass player Firp Edmunds.    Opening for John Fogerty and Willie Nelson, TV appearances and countless interviews with both radio and print.

The second record is due out in the fall entitled "Shawn Z. - Saint Jude Avenue" and looks to bring the Gypsyz to an even higher level.
