SKATEROCK Started out in 2010 in Shah Alam Skate park whereby 4000 kids come to celebrate New years Eve. The purpose of Skaterock event was to distract the youth attention to partying at the clubs and city street. Whereby thousand of youth will spend their new years eve with Drugs,Alcohol and spend the night on streets. DFYA main objective is to do preventions. By having them all here at the Park we could monitor and avoid them drinking alcohol and doing drugs at the events. Concerts will be held and bands will be addressing Drug Free message at every centre of their performance. Drug Free message will be deliver everywhere by posters, emcee,bands,signing pledge, Pledge, banner and screening. Kids that come to this show are extremely into hard music and extreme sports. This is our reach out program to talk, listen and meet them face to face. Be part of this reach out program and reach the youth by volunteering. Now we are targeting 7000 youth to celebrate new years eve without drugs and alcohol. This year we'll initiate a Fund raising for The Palestinian and The poor people.Whereby we want people to come with their donations either cash or can food since this is a FREE events so everyone comes with a compassion and leave a smile to the homeless,refugees and war victims.
