The Badly Sketched Poets were formed in 2008 when guitarist, Dan Alexander wrote his first song Counteract. Mario Perescu, bass player and Dan’s school friend said, “Let’s form a band”. From there they added Chris Webb, another guitarist and school friend but struggled with finding a suitable drummer. After trying out a few drummers and session musicians, Alex Archer joined the band.
