Avowed is back for a one-night spectacular. Catch award-winning songwriters Emad Alaeddin, Jesse DeSanto, and Erik Kreft as they reunite for an unforgettable evening.
Jordanian rocker Emad Alaeddin, best known for 'Arabic Girl', is uniting with his L.A rock band to bring its distinctive and unique blast of rock to Jordan. ‘Avowed’ will be making its Middle East debut in Amman on July 31st, 2009 at Souq Jara. The show starts at 7 and tickets are for 2 JD's and will be sold at the Kulacom outlets at Smart Buy and the MABCO Showroom Avowed will be the first big performance of the 'Kulacom Concert Series', which will also include various local artists and bands. Kulacom Jordan is the title sponsor of the concert series, which is a part of its 'Local Company, Local Talent' initiative that aims to promote and support Jordanian talent. Avowed was first envisioned when lead singer Emad Alaeddin met guitarist Jesse DeSanto. The duo combined their styles into a unique blend of soul-rock and began searching for other musicians to complement their edgy sound. After a six-year search, Alaeddin and DeSanto met their future band mates - Erik Kreft became the band's drummer and Nick Leroux joined as the bassist. Avowed recently won a songwriting award by songoftheyear.com for their first single, "How Does It Feel?", which can be heard on radio stations all over Jordan. Avowed's debut album is now available in Virgin Megastores in Jordan. The four members of Reef got together for the first time in the spring of the year 2007, discussed many topics of life and decided to pursue a dream together. Untill now reef has evolved their tunes into the right direction with the help of many fellow musicians and the support of the local music scene.
