Automag -BMF artist of the year! / Press

“My expectations were pretty high for this new cd.. I must say my expectations were met 10 fold!.. This cd Rocks from beginning to end!”

“Automag has made a career singing about shine, bikers, good clean Country livin’ (oxymoron I know..), and a whole lot of drinking. Their third album may be their most accessible from a wide range of audiences. From today’s Country listeners (think Jason Aldean, Black Stone Cherry, and early Steve Earle) to the hard rock AC/DC aficionados and later day Metallica fans can all find something to celebrate in this album! This is a good solid album you can hang your hat on so throw it on the stereo, drop the tailgate, take a swig of some good ol’ fashioned Flowers‘ shine, smoke a lil kind, grab your favorite girl, and drop the hammer on 9 great tunes. ”

“AWAY TEAM AUTOMAG Deep in the Ditch Wulverine Records 8 out of 10 Automag has made a career singing about shine, bikers, good clean Country livin’ (oxymoron I know..), and a whole lot of drinking. “As you listen to Automag's "Hellbound" the first time through, you'll enjoy it as a 70s style hard rock album, complete with singable melodies, lots of fantastic leads and chugging guitars. You'll find yourself banging your head, singing along and playing a lot of air guitar to this CD. It'll get its hooks into you instantly and won't ever let go. The second time through, however, take more time. Sit down, put on a pair of headphones and carefully follow the lyrics and story printed in the CD booklet as you play the CD. It's an entirely different experience. Going from a balls-out rock'n'roll record to a genuine concept album (which is just as balls-out, by the way) with a Southern twist, "Hellbound" tells a gripping story that's amazingly clear and well-told. The lyrics from each song are separated by short paragraphs which enhance the story and, by the time you're through, it's almost as though you've sat through a short movie. "Hellbound" is a hell of an entertaining record ”
