In November 2006 Andy Page and Damien Mackay (Kin, 12 Inch Shifter) had the idea to create and bring a new sound to the Perth metal scene. The full line up of the band however did not properly establish until the start of 2007 with NazzyD joining the band as the drummer, closely followed by Stu on vocals (ex The Last) and Stumpy as the bassist. With a demo recorded and big plans being laid down Blunt Force Trauma are an act to watch out for in 2009
