Athena Metis was Formed in 2007, By Sebastien and Marc Niles,...two musicians who met through destiny and chance. Collaborating together they established a raport that only fate could fortell. Only common grounds such as Beer and Cigarettes...............Parc La Fontaine, Life Experiences, Women, Previous Musical Experiences, Professionalism and a Mutual Agreement towards a common goal, has bought out the kind of music they play.

Sebastien is a resident of Kapuskasing, who travelled through Ontario, accumulating experiences through different bands, and projects (but always looking for more), finally set up base in Montreal to establish his music. Being a Graduate In Sound Engineering, from Recording Arts of Canada, he uses the knowledge he aquired to express himself in a more definite way.

Marc Niles is originally from New Delhi, India, and moved from Toronto to Montreal to broaden his Musical Experiences.As a Psychology Student at Concordia University, he goes crazy every now and then, freaking out on the positive vibes emoted in all of Metis's Songs.  Adding his own flavour, combined with Sebastien's, his rhythms came to life through shared feelings of respect, devotion to music and professionality.

Athena Metis, signifies more than what we can possibly imagine. Things come to life, if only a thought. Breathing only music, a breath is all that it takes to influence millions and touch the hearts of many. Chanelling through the deepest, darkest moments of our existence, as well as our most cherished relationships we mold our differences into one.

The band lineup is slowly building itself, with the duo browsing through talented musicians..for now, we salute those who are rocking with us....
