John started playing guitar when he was eight years old. There was always music in his home due to his mother’s influence. In sixth grade he entered a talent show and won second place.
As a young adult John was lead singer, played rhythm and lead guitar in a band called “The Country Ramblers” that worked the upstate New York area. They opened for Dottie West in 1989 and Charlie Pride in 1990 at the “Opry Barn” in Cortland, New York.
In the early 90’s John performed showcases in Tallahassee, FL, Valdosta, GA and Murfreesboro, TN. In Nashville he showcased at the Opryland Hotel, Mickey Gilley’s Bar, Wildhorse Saloon and the Nashville Revue Show.
John released the single “I Miss Your Blue Eyes” in 1995, which went number one in forty countries. The CD “I Miss Your Blue Eyes” was released in Europe in 1999 and three additional songs went number one. The CD went top ten on the independent charts.
John was honored with an appearance on the Ernest Tubb Radio Show with the Hagar Twins and Kitty Wells in Dec. 1999.
John opened at the North Florida Fairgrounds Nov. 4th and 6th 2000, which headlined artists Billy Dean and Leroy Parnell.
John headlined at the Country Rose Festival in Kassel, Germany yearly from 2001 thru 2006 on the same venue with Tommy Overstreet, Tommy Cash, Stella Pardon and Dickey Lee.
In addition by invitation in September 2001 and February 2002 he headlined at the Rhinestone Country Club in Dortmund, Germany.
Also by invitation in 2002 thru 2004 John showcased the Berlin Music Messe. From these showcases John was hired to headline festival on the Baltic Sea in Poland in 2003.
John has finished his second CD “The Luck of Love” with some success in Europe. Recently he has moved from Florida to Nashville to promote and pursue his career in music.
