Born in Kankakee, Illinois Tyrell Lamont Lindsley, moved to the south-side of Arizona in 1998, at the tender age of 10yrs old. It was then that he began his journey to the provocative artist and tenacious worker he is today. He learned the true meaning and results of hard work early on by getting his first job while still in middle school. Although he had been writing poetry in the 7th grade, Rell really began to blossom his jr. year of high school. It was then that he began to focus more on his ability to rhyme and his "passion for fashion". He started his own clothing line he named Kliche'. His main focus with the line was to create a line of clothing that reflected, what he thought, was his generations views on music/pop culture, history, politics etc. The clothing line not only gave Rell an outlet, it helped instill the confidence and persistence needed to succeed in today's Hip-Hop world. In the summer of 2006, Rell began recording with Da T.R.O.O.P.S., an independent label of very talented artists and producers. Da T.R.O.O.P.S. main focus was to unite a very talented group of individuals, that would work together to make the most innovative sound to ever come out of Arizona. Although the group is still working together, Rell recently began his own record label titled NewDirection(NDmusic). He also recently began the "relaunch" of his Kliche' clothing line, and is working on his new project entitled Eat,Shit, and Try.
