The group known as Syllable Seven formed in November of 2008 with one goal in mind: to make funky music by combining elements that we felt were all important aspects of our roots as both musicians and as individuals. We choose predominately Funk, Reggae, & Hip Hop with little bits of Blues, Punk and Metal to create one solid groove. We have since continued playing as many shows as possible, as often as possible and plan to do so for as long as possible to spread our positive vibe as far as possible. Syllable Seven has shared the stage with groups such as “Solillaquists of Sound,” “SOJA” and “MC Akil of Jurassic 5” within their first two years as an established band.
In February of 2010 we released our self titled 5 track EP and will release a full length 12 track LP November of 2012 titled “Psychoacoustics.”
