Shane Martin’s musical style is best described from Nashville EMMY award winning engineer/producer Kenny Royster, “Shane is a great singer songwriter on the teetering edge of country, pop, and rock where it's just dangerous enough to be fun.” The singer/songwriter has been performing around the Midwest Region for over 15 years and has consistently played over 150 shows per year quickly becoming one of the top draws in the modern country/rock genre. In addition to his extremely popular acoustic “One Man Band” performances, Martin fronts his own band performing with high energy and experienced musicianship and has shared the stage with numerous national country and rock acts. Martin has self released four albums.
- 1998 "Moody Waters". This six song acoustic e.p. featured the song "She Could Cry in Heaven", which appeared on the television show "The Young and the Restless"
- 2005 sophomore release entitled "Thread", co-produced and recorded with Levi Seacer from Prince’s The New Power Generation, featuring the fan favorite “It’s Alright” and the song "White Fences” that was featured on the sound track of a Michael Wilson documentary.

- 2012 “Light it Up” recorded in Nashville with the highly accomplished producer/engineer Kenny Royster and world class studio musicians. “Light it Up” was released Oct. 5th, 2012.
In 2012 Martin was a top 5 finalist in the Texaco Country Showdown. The Regional winner competed in the Finals for $100,000 and the National Title at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN hosted by LeAnn Rimes
2011 Grand Prize winner of DSA song contest: After winning the Country category in the 2011 Dallas Songwriters Association’s international song contest, Shane’s song “No Hard Feelings” won out over the top three winners from each of the contest’s eight categories.
