Raised in the Pacific Northwest on the Oregon Coast, Lil Yunka has been listening to Rap, and hip hop music since he was 9 years old. He developed the love for this style of music and free style rapping by the time he was 15 years old. At the age of 24, Tony was admitted to rehab where while there he recorded his first track and debuted as an artist at the Clatsop County Fair. The next 3 years, and still today continues to perform in multiple venues in the Salem area which include The Rack & Cue, El Patrons, Illusions, The Flip Side and Papa G’s Black Light Bar. Other venues include The Avenue Lounge in Vancouver Washington and The Astoria Event Center located near his home town.
Lil Yunka Started performing with Cyco Twin Records out of Salem Oregon in 2009, which also includes his cousin Lil Rudy. He has since opened up for world famous DJ Chill, Recording Artist Twisted Insane. Ruka Puff (from Mac 10’s Hoo Bangin), Bay area’s J-Blaze, as well as other Numerous local Oregon artists.
After the tragic loss of his grandmother, in the Summer of 2011, Lil Yunka turned all his focus to music to help cope with the pain and turmoil. “Rappin is my therapy” say’s Lil Yunka, as it allows him to feel and express himself the only way he feels comfortable, hoping to spread his Lyrics to his Family, Friends, and to his Fans.
