Kenneth "Pops" Jones is a singer/songwriter born in Detroit, Michigan. Growing up in the sixties and seventies in Detroit provided an opportunity to constantly hear a wide variety of music, laying down the soundtrack of Pops Jones' soul. As a "songwriter in hiding", Pops Jones has been polishing his craft, only playing live solo performances in the last 8 years. Currently, you can hear Pops Jones as a solo artist at a variety of venues, but also with the band Salter, featuring some hard-driving rock grooves and melodic tunes that are crowd pleasers.
