Jeff Jopling is a singer/songwriter from Townsend, TN. Jeff graduated from Maryville College with a Bachelor’s degree in classical music but since college Jeff has lived in Nashville and performed and toured professionally for the Capitol/EMI Record Label as well as numerous artists across the country. Jeff’s commanding baritone voice along with his instrumental expertise on bass and piano have afforded him to become one of the most prolific and sought-after artists in East TN.
The Jeff Jopling Band is a rhythm driven country rock band incorporating the aspects of Jopling’s songwriting, vocal and instrumental abilities along with the talents of : Guitarist Austin Stepp (Founding member of the ETSU Old Time program as well as the 2011 Smoky Mountain Fiddle competition’s Grand Champion); Drummer Daniel Cromwell (Renowned touring and studio drummer as well as the songwriter and lead singer for the band “So To Speak); and Keyboardist Jerry Sullivan (Award Winning pianist and fellow graduate of Maryville College in piano performance. The individual talents of the members of the Jeff Jopling Band stand alone and when combined with those of Jopling’s smooth baritone voice, songwriting, bass and piano abilities, the Jeff Jopling Band creates a country music sound and style that is unique and yet conforms to the demands of today’s contemporary country listeners while still holding the attention of the classic country audience.
