In-sid-i-ous: \in-ˈsi-dē-əs\ awaiting a chance to entrap
Salt Lake City, Utah metal band Incidious intends to live up to their name by entrapping you with the various styling’s of their music. Combining the gut-wrenching guttural growls of Lamb of God with the power-hungry energy of Pantera, they successfully achieve this goal, sucking you further in with no apparent sign of release. Their music culminates from the anger and angst of living in predominantly LDS surroundings. Their live performances follow suit, grabbing your attention from the first note, only to assault your auditory senses with fist-pounding hook driven material that doesn't let up until the final chord.
Spending 9 months holed up in a dingy basement studio the group forged the groundwork for their EP. Releasing this self-titled 4 song EP in late 2010, the band is currently focused on the next phase of their plan, a Jagermeister sponsorship, a full length album release in late 2011, then global infection!
The four piece group combines nearly 100 years of musicianship, with over 30 years in the Salt Lake metal scene. This showpiece, Incidious, is the spawn of Spit, where Bob and Chad first met. 9 years later and multiple band incarnations enter Rob and Russ. As hours turned to days and days turned to months, the quartet finally unleash the madness of what will surely become the prerequisite of all Utah metal!
So, keep a close eye on Incidious as they begin their assault on the world, unleashing one brutal song after another to wreak havoc on the underground metal community!!
