Grand Central / Bio

Grand Central are a British rock band , penning raw guitar riffs and soaring choruses , they have been described as “if The Smashing Pumpkins were British” and UK Music website described them as “a rush of teenage-hood aggressively reviving in the veins. “

Brothers Cade (vocals) and Ryan Hannan (guitar) released “Take My Hand” , Grand Central`s first single gave the nod to classic American rock and was chosen by Reverbnation / Microsoft for a Windows 7 International marketing campaign.

Grand Central then released their 2nd single, “Inside” which was picked up by Chicago based magazine, Inclination, which started giving Grand Central American exposure. At the end of 2010 they released their 3rd single, “My Star” working with Andy (Stereolab) and Tipler (Placebo, Elastica, Charlatans). Grand Central were interviewed and featured in magazines in Argentina and US, and had their songs played on radio in both countries.

The end of 2010 and beginning of 2011 saw Cade and Ryan working on their début Album, "Platform One". In March 2011 saw the addition of Yoshi on Guitar/Keys, and Gary on Drums.. Grand Central started playing around London. In June Cade went to Colombia where he was interviewed on some of the biggest national radio stations.  In September, Grand Central were featured in a 6 page spread in Spanish magazine, “The Blonde Magazine “which is about new fashion, trends and music.

Grand Central released their 4th single, “Under my skin” in November 2011, and will release their debut Album in 2012. They played in Spain and the UK at the end of 2011 and shortly after filmed their new music video out in January 2012.
