The Johnson Palmer Band / Bio

The Johnson Palmer Band is a South Florida based rock and roll band that has been together for 2 years, but each has over 20 years experience.

Joey Crispino - Lead Guitar and vocals.
Has played guitar for 30 years, from glam rock, originals, blues, hard rock, southern rock, and classic rock. Also worked as session guitarist and recording engineer.

Dave McMeniman - Drums and vocals
Began musical career in 1965 playing accordion then switched to drums in 1967 and joined the Royal Guardsmen drum corps studying rudimental drumming. Started playing drum set in 1968 and began doing live gigs in various rock, blues, and jazz bands until 1972. He then attended the Berklee College of Music in 1973 majoring in instrumental performance and studying with Gary Chaffee former drummer with the Gary Burton Quartet. In 1997 Dave recorded the CD "Chosen Path" with jazz keyboardist Jackson Bunn and currently resides in the South Florida area where he has continued playing drums and percussion with a number of different bands and local artists. Also plays piano, guitar, and flute.

Joe Volborth - Bass, Synth and vocals. One of the founding members of the band "Yard Sale"
Plays 5,6 and 7 string bass, fretless, and synth. Started in NY at age 12, has played rock, jazz, blues, and fusion. Has played with Gregory Hines, Butch Mudbone, and Sam Bluzman Taylor.
