Gustavo Angeles has been making music for more than twenty years.
Born in Mexico City, he started at a young age playing professionally on the bar scene of the big city, then he moved to Can cun, where he cut his teeth playing American Rock covers at the Hotel zone before moving to the States.
Once in the USA, he kept playing and creating music, (He was in the first Rock en Espanol band in Phoenix) "Leyenda Urbana", wich evolved later to " Casa de Locos"
whom shared the stage with the likes of "Cafe Tacuba", "Alejandra Guzman", "Ekimosis", (now "Juanes"), to name a few.
The band broke up in the late nineties, and Gustavo started to play different styles of music, always traveling and learning.
On one of several trips to Havana, Cuba; he learned how to play Tres Cubano, then back on the States, he founded "Cascabel", playing with his partner, violinist and singer "Quetzal Guerrero" for several years. They opened and shared the stage with "Los Lobos", 'Machete ensemble", "Jorge Santana", etc.
He fell in love with the Flamenco guitar, studying in Santa Fe, New Mexico under the tutelage of the great "Chuscales" and ''Pedro Cortes".
Currently doing solo gigs, Gustavo Angeles is dedicated to create music.
Playing flamenco guitar, rock guitar, tres cubano, piano, or singing, producing, writing or teaching, he's always full filling his most precious childhood dream, wich was to become a MUSICIAN.
