More Than Man was formed in late 2009 by members Joseph Gonzales, Franscisco Luevano, and Landis Daniels under the name "The Great I Am." The three got to hard work writing, and taking appropriate measures to make sure everything flowed together as perfectly as possible and was the sound they wanted. It wasn't until early 2010 that they began auditioning vocalists. After many complications, and many potential candidates, Johnny Robinson took his spot as the first offical frontman for More Than Man. In the weeks to come, Johnny and Landis spent their time writing the lyrics and figuring out vocal placement and patterns, and it was at that time that landis's long time friend and guitar player Nick McDaniel filled in temporarily for bass. After hearing what they had accomplished with their music and writing in such a short time, Nick made the decision to become a fulltime member. This made the line-up official and complete. The band then took on their new name, "More Than Man." In the weeks to come, the guys worked hard to solidify their music and entered Tonal studios located in Ft. Worth, Texas. Their debut EP entitled "Machine In The Garden" is set for release May of 2011.
