Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas and raised in Bakersfield, California this fiery redhead with a traditional country sound is taking Nashville head on. Tamaray knew from a very young age that she was born to sing and write country music. She was a California girl with a country twang. Before she knew it she was flying out to Nashville for songwriting workshops every chance she could get and quickly began working on her craft.
With a lot of determination and an attitude ready to make it happen, Tamaray decided to make the big move to Nashville in March of 2010. And when this busy redheaded beauty isn’t playing shows or writing songs, she’s busy giving back to the community and educating others about the power of music.
“Music and education mean everything to me,” says Tamaray. With a Bachelors degree in business management, Tamaray understands the importance of working hard to achieve your goals. “Because of my education and the opportunity to learn music, I was able to pursue my dreams. Now I want to give back to others and help someone else achieve their dreams too.”
Tamaray performs concerts for non-profit organizations and loves to spend her spare time volunteering in the local community. So keep your eyes peeled as this California girl with a country twang continues to climb her way to the top, writing uplifting songs and spreading the message that with a little hope, and a lot of determination, Something Amazing can happen to anyone.
