Obliterate the Apex formed in the summer of 2010, and began to combine elements of thrash/death/progressive metal to make their own unique brand of technical metal. They are a four piece consisting of one singer/2 lead guitars, a bassist, and a drummer. They compose/write songs with various time changes, soaring melody/harmonies, and lead guitar lines that Trade on and off. If you like Technical/Extreme metal, this is definately a band to keep your eyes on! With recent additions of ex- Origin/ Unmericiful drummer James King, and reuniting with former Obliterate the Apex and Count thy Days's bassist Jeff Hattem, they are out to create crushingly brutal songs, with intricate, beautiful, complex, mind fucking melodies, and solos....with new material in the works, they are on the warpath to domination....
