Dadaman / Bio

Darius Dugger aka Dadaman (Dada-man) 24 years old resides in Newport News VA where he continuously pursues his love and passion for music. Given the name Dudu-man by his mother Annie Mae Dugger now passed; Dadaman first started out with his initials as his artist name D.D.P. After some serious thought he took his childhood nickname Du-Du-man changing the U into A’s in honoring his mother as well as his childhood a new artist was born. Dadaman first found his passion for music when introduced to a home studio in his neighborhood where he and a few of his friends use to record. Although no stranger to recording his rhymes on an mp3 recorder, it was there he understood that in a studio his dreams and visions would come alive. Still new to the music scene Dadaman did his first open-mic at Club Twist where he performed a remake to NAS’s song Hero called Monster. From there he began to perform at multiple clubs and school showcases around the 757. While still on the fence on weather or not he was great enough to follow his new found passion for music he decided to give it his all at his high school talent show; although he didn’t place, the reaction of the crowd would be one he would always remember. In 2012 while running his own founded label Bang Baby Records he recorded his first studio album Better Late Than Never; getting great responses from it he continued with his next installment with his My Moment album which features his hit single Bout It which he also produced as well. In 2014 Dadaman was accepted into and upcoming label known as House of Bertha Entertainment aka H.O.B. There he began to develop new relationships with different and upcoming artist being featured on H.O.B.’s No Halfassness mixtape as well as producing for several artists on and off the label. With his hard work and dedication Dadaman finally started to gain recognition he worked for as he began headlining as well as opening for artist such as Rampage from Flipmode Squad as well as Nine while doing multiple showcases around VA, MD, DE, CT, CA and WV. As each day comes Dadaman continues to become better and work on his craft as an artist\producer Dadaman has released his third album Grammy Speech which can be downloaded on ITunes, CDBaby, Google Play as well as Amazon. Dadaman is sure to make a huge impact and further his already fast and growing career in the music world
