Bloom is a urban/folk group who are singer/songwriters from West Orange New Jersey. Not since Lilith
Fair (Sara McLachlan, Tracey Chapman, Paula Cole) and the female singer/songwriters who played

How Did We Begin
After a years of relentless bullying, Tyree Marshall (16) was looking for a way to express her fears and
frustrations. Younger sister Kyra Marshall who played guitar, suggested Tyree write her feeling down
in a song. Realizing this method was a way of making good of a bad situation, the sisters pledged
to wrote songs to empower other girls dealing with the same issues.The sisters along with longtime
friend singer Autumn Turner, formed the group Bloom.
Together the girls performed locally in an effort to stomp out bulling. The buzz on the group began to
spread and Bloom soon developed a small grassroots following know as Bloomheads. The collaboration
proved to be magic as the girls caught the attentIon of producer Hakim Bell. Under the guidance of
Bloomworld Global, Bloom would grow and develop as true artists. Within a year, the girls were
introduced to Blending Enterprises who began exploring opportunities to
put Bloom on the map.
