DruidSong / Bio

I've been performing for over 40 years at this point. Mostly, I have played and sung 'folk' and Celtic works. I draw from Celtic sources, both traditional and modern, including original compositions. I play both six and twelve string guitar, and sing. I play a little tin whistle and bodhran. Over the years, I've played all sorts of places in and around Pittsburgh. I'm a veteran of the coffee house circuit, back in the 1960s. I perform under the name "DruidSong" when doing solo work. This reflects, in part, my current emphasis on music drawn from various Celtic sources.

At present (august 2010), there are three CDs available: "DruidSong", "Johnny Jump Up" and "Rebels and Rogues".

"Rebels and Rogues" includes a song written by Nan Hawthorne - "The Ballad of Rory McGuiness". Nan is the author of "An Involuntary King", and host of the internet radio station Radio De' Danann. She asked me to record this a while back, and we're both pleased with the result.
