Scott and Cory started The HB in Cory's shitty basement "apartment". That lasted one jam. That was 2007. We went up to Scott's cleaner/more artist friendly house which we affectionately named The Bomb Shelter. From there we recorded our first 2 albums and hit the road with a cast of characters playing bass guitars and key boards.
In 2011 we made the move to Seattle and our buddy Jason told us he'
d play bass. The first practice was really fun and we had our power trio rollin' again. We recorded Finals, an album we are very proud of, with our longtime friend Derek Moree. Shortly after it's release we decided to take the last steps in creating a full sound by adding 2nd guitarist, Berto.
You can find us rawking around the Pacific NW on the regular. We love our little band. We like being in your scene and playin' shows with our friends. It's all about the vibe, right? And love or madness...and drinks!-Cory
Scott wrote this a couple years back and I think it's beautiful:
Each song being a window into the moods. That have shaped this bands particular generation. Dark moody guitars, give way to bright sunny hooks, give way to meloncholy wonderings. Of what is, whats wanted and what you get.
Believing in the show, with an overwhelming appetite for the sonic and visual destruction of the norm. You know when the ride begins as one emotion turns into another into another. Energy, emotion and a true love of the art that is..... A RAWK SHOW!
