Coco and the Players was founded and organized by Patrick (Coco) Moe, the lead guitarist and vocalist. Born in American Samoa and raised in Hawaii with a renowned musical family of eight, Coco is a multi talented player and singer who has performed with such artists as Don Ho, The Platters, Archie Bell and the Drells, J.D. Sumner and the Stamps and the Elvis Review Show in Vegas and Houston.
Coco was joined by the talented Danny Lomotan from the Philipines, who has played the drums extensively since the 70's in Asia and in the 80's in various places in the United States.
The other members of the band also from the Philipines are Sunny Casugbo on Bass, and Rene Gonzales on guitar synthesizer, who has performed in different places around the Asian continent and here in Texas.
In 2008 the band welcomed Kristi Moe, coco's wife, as lead vocalist. She was born in Germany, grew up in Oregon with her musical family and now permanently resides here in Houston Texas where the couple has raised 3 children who also perform professionally for Coco's extended family's Polynesian show.
The band has been in the music industry for many years now, providing their talents to different night clubs, restaurants, bars, organizations, fund raisers and private parties. The band's types of music are from R & B, Country, Soul, Funk, Pop, Classic Rock, Reggae, and Disco.
