S.W.I.N.E. / Bio

S.W.I.N.E. {some wish i never existed} originally began as a recording project between Crutch, as he's known to friends, (vocalist of the local metal act, Neuroma, among other local projects) & a longtime friend, & because of the generous use of synths, samples, & loops (as well as the heavy dance/rave/industrial scene influences), coupled with the use of "realtime" guitar & bass tracks, it quickly attracted the attention of those in the rave scene & rock/metal scene alike, but was short lived as far as any "mainstream" scene is concerned, because of one circumstance or another. And as a result the pair of songwriters parted ways...
...FLASH FORWARD A FEW YEARS...
Crutch formed a pairing with another longtime friend, Matt Honeycutt, who played guitar & was the main songwriting source for local act, Funk Among Us, as well as a member, for a time, of rock/rap act, Hellafied (formerly H.F.C.), & guitar tech for (now de-funked) Undeniable {NO PUN INTENDED!}...
...With the two just "jamming" together in one form or another for nearly they're whole relationship time, and Honeycutt's contribution of guitar & bass on a couple tracks on a couple tracks throughout the years, his recruitment for the guitar position of the live act, AND a more commited stance in the band itself, was the only logical next step for the two, & seemed almost inevitable that they would eventually take the stage together in the end. And with his addition & giant "wall of guitar" sound, it would prove to be a more organic & traditional "live rock" influence & feel to the songwriting process...

...The band is currently auditioning bassists & drummers to round out the live act....
