Rick Diamond began playing guitar and writing songs when he was 12 years old. Through the years he's managed to clear his head of a hundred and seventy-five or so tunes, but there seem to be a few left stuck in there that trickle out from time to time, usually in pairs, depending on whether he comes in contact with a proper muse.
The songs offered here are not quite finished versions of what will eventually be a CD that will include three or four more songs that aren't available yet. None of this has been mastered, and the MP3 format quality is a bit "crunchy" (harsh, stark, whatever...)
(There are 9 songs on RN, but the last three, "Streethearts", and two demo versions of "I'm Over You" are sometimes hidden to the incurious folks who don't poke around enough to find them. Blatant hint: Click "Play All" or "See All Songs".)
Note: That Porky Pig sound that you hear a few seconds into the bridge on "Now You're Talkin'" wasn't added in to the mix; it's the actual sound made when those three voices blather simultaneously... HH&F
People have been asking me where "I'm Over You" is. The only available recordings of "I'm Over You" are the live YouTube version that I did not too long after writing it and the Hooferdoofer interview version. And now my disclaimers: The YouTube version features my patented over-sing style while trying to remember the words while trying to hear properly because of the lack of any monitors (STILL! 45 South/Northern Star)...and, and, the sun was in my eyes, and I'd just started my period...and the interview version (Part 2) @ hooferdoofer.com is only part of the song and you have to fast-forward past all my incoherent, smorgasbord edited blather. But, hey, enjoy...UPDATE: Two not so perfect versions are available here--Listen at your own risk...
Hmmm...I didn't mean that to sound negative... R
