“I love to experiment with sound”

“How would you describe your music?” – I don’t. Courtnee Roze

A cultural polymath, Courtnee Roze is an entertainer and a visionary. Studying and playing percussion since the age of 7 Courtnee began her musical career in New York City and is currently recognized as one of the most multi talented entertainers in today’s music industry.

People are calling Courtnee one of the most intriguing acts in music, describing her distinct organic rhythms as “authentic”. Always on the cutting edge, her ability to write, produce, arrange and play live music is what sets Courtnee apart from the rest.

Courntee’s sound is both innovative and eclectic. Her instruments of choice are Djembe from Guinea West Africa, Timbales from Cuba and Conga’s, a Cuban drum with African antecedents.
