Hailing from the small town of Tarkio, Missouri is a group of five early-to-mid twenties pop/punk friends; Tyler McIntosh, Danny Hogue, Tim Miller, Ethan Piveral, and Duston Noland, known collectively as One Headlight High. The band got their start in February 2010 when four high school friends decided to start creating music together. Ethan, Tyler, and Duston are the current founding members of the band. All current members started playing instruments at a young age. Throughout high school they were all a part of high school band and also formed rock bands to pass the off time between sports, band, and other extra curricular activities, some of them in the same bands in high school, all of them playing shows together all the time.
One Headlight High is a pop/punk rock band with an alternative rock feel and very catchy melodies. Influenced by bands such at All Time Low, Yellowcard, Blink 182, A Day To Remember, The Wonder Years and so on, you can definitely feel a bit of each when you listen to one of their albums.
The band has three albums out thus far and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon. Their first album "One Last Chance" released in the summer of 2011 which included six songs written by the band. After a short break and an addition of a couple new members, they recorded a 10 song EP titled "Live Free or Don't" (Futurama reference). The album was released September 13, 2013 and can be found on iTunes, AmazonMusic, Google Play, Spotify, and many other music sites. Their third album titled "Show Me State of Mind" was released February 9th, 2015 (a special date for the band as it was their 5 year anniversary). "Show Me State of Mind" hightlights the bands continuous growth and maturity since their inception in 2010. The album covers all topics in life from reminiscing about great times with friends to growing up and admitting ones own faults. The album is loaded full of pop/punk style rhythms and guitar riffs, coupled with excellent beats, and of course catchy melodies and lyrics no listener will be able to erase from their memory. Plans are in place to support this album as they have in the past, playing shows across Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, the Midwest and anywhere else this album can take them.
