Amanda Suckow is best described as a classical musician with a love for folk music. She likes to say she “folked up big time”. Seeking beauty in nature, humanity and life, Amanda articulates her experiences through song. She currently dwells in Milwaukee, WI.
Amanda is currently seeking opportunities to share her beautiful songs and stories through performance, hoping to bring her brand of folk music to a club, concert hall or living room near you. Additionally, she is about to embark on a fundraising campaign for the recording of her third album which will feature songs of love, loss and finding inner respect and acceptance.
When Amanda isn’t creating music, she takes great joy in sharing music with students. For 5 years, she taught elementary school music in Milwaukee where her achievements were recognized by receiving the “Teacher of the Year” award in 2012.
