F-61 / Bio

F-61 formed in 2003 as a trio. Since forming the 2 steady members have always been the brothers Mike on guitar, vocals and songwriting & Joe on drums & percussion.
Heavily influenced by punk music and bands such as the Ramones, The Misfits & Black Flag and alternative bands like Nirvana, F61's song writing has little odes to these groups while maintaining originality.
Since 2010 F-61 has had airplay in the tri state area with their song "I Loath" being put into regular rotation after winning a spot on WSOU 89.5 fm Street Patrol program. Street Patrol is a program dedicated to playing unsigned local bands and letting the audience vote if they stay or go.
F61 also has airplay on several internet radio stations around the country including Bullspike Radio (www.bullspikeradio.com), Whatever68 Radio (www.whatever68radio.com), Angry Nation and more.
Several videos can be found on You Tube at www.youtube.com/evilmike76. A live clip of I Loath at Ottos in NYC, a video for Planned Parenthood and the latest Rock & Rolla, which is a video showing the band during the recording of the song in the studio.
F61 currently has a full length album "Looking Through A Broken Window" available for download on ITunes and other sites & is working on a new ep "Dead End City" which will be available mid July 2014.
