Musical group “The Sanda” was founded in the beginning of 1993, in Tbilisi, Georgia.
In 1997, a musical festival “Protect the Black Sea”, had been held in Batumi, where were invited a lot of guests from different countries and one of them was “The SANDA” as a Headliner. At the same year, in spring they were participants of the great rock concert at “The Park of Vake”, after that, the group stopped its musical activity because of financial problems.
In 2007, in June round the festival of “OZONI Gigz” they had held solo concert, where they performed two different styles, Celtic folk and Modern rock. At the same year they had played” Live” in sound recording studio of the “RADIO UCNOBI”, which was on internet air.
In 2009 “The SANDA” had taken part in new musical project of the “RUSTAVI 2” –“Listen to live”, where they had been in the first place of the chart by their hit “Play the game”. It is significant, that all “The SANDA”s concerts are regularly covered in media since 2007.
Gradually, there appeared funk and art-rock’s elements in the group sound, which gives rise to another album. At the same time “The SANDA” had performed with its solo projects in such clubs as: “ETHNO 99”, “FLAT”, also in the “Theatre at ATONELI” (rock sound). The group successfully had passed the announced casting and had taken part in “Tbilisi Open Air/Alter Vision, which having been held by “Step Records” on 23-rd October, 2009. They had also taken part in different concerts having been held by “Promo Industries” such as: “Good Old 70’s”, solo concert at “Magti Club”, in 2010 New Year’s open concert, Charity concert at Tbilisi Rock Club.
