Bryce Alastair & the Booze-N-Blues is a new form of Blues & alternative rock. Bryce himself has wrote over 200 songs. As a child he gained influence cruising through the woods of mid Michigan with his grandfather Keith listening to old broken blues tracks from Robert Johnson straight to the likes of Buddy Guy, and southern heroes like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers and The Band. Starting on guitar and drums at the age of 7 now in his mid twenty's he is still caught plucking through the night with band mates and fellow musicians. Bryce moved to Jacksonville, FL at the age of 18 after sitting in the trailer on his family property in Marion Springs,MI for five months recording in his home studio. Wanting to pursue his music he thought leaving home would be a sufficient way to get it done. Since then he has recorded in three different recording studios and is working on his third release do to be out SPRING 2014. On the new album he has recruited Piano/Harmonica player and lead collaborator James Adams. James owns his own coffee shop in Jacksonville,Fl and was introduced to Bryce by mutual friends in 2006. They have played music together whenever possible for the past few years. Bryce also recruited drummer Whitney Bell who has a steady off beat style and has jammed with the band off and on since 2010 between tour managing for The Corbitt Brothers Band out of Jacksonville,FL/Nashville,TN. With Whitney back to stay the guys recruited Jennings Attaway also a past member of the band and a Jacksonville,FL native, and long time friend Jason "The Conga King" Morrison for percussion. Stoked for the fans and friends to hear the new sound the guys have shared the stage with blues great Robert Randolph & his Family Band, Singer/Songwriter Chris Knight and other influential artists. They are currently finishing up touches on the "Appalachian Delight" EP in Eclipse Recording studio out of St. Augustine,FL. Their main headquarters is a full service studio named Studio E which is the biggest of five studios located inside the building of Stay Tuned Studios Jacksonville,FL.
