CMC Also known as Cosmics is a duo consisting young Bengali rappers/singers Rupee-G and M.I.B. formally known as Foyboii. Fans of rap music from young age, these rappers are the youngest duos rapping in Bangla. Rupee was 15 when he recorded a mixtape with a friend name Anik in 2006; this Album captivated mix of their own beats produced by a south asian producer (Dj Harry) as well as samples of popular beats. Although, the release of the mixtape "Jiboner Kotha"(Life story) didn’t made quite a splash in the Bengali hip hop culture, these young souls however remained focus on their music. Soon after the release of the mixtape, Anik resigned the group and M.I.B , a friend of Rupee-G who was very much interested in his music joined Cosmics. Slowly as Rupee-G and MiB found each other’s idea similar and unique, they began working on a full length album delivering songs of depth, conflicts of Bangladesh and explicit desire references. These young Rappers are being praised both for their nasal-voice rapping style and the bluntly controversial nature of their lyrics. CMC officially changed its name from Crazy Mastan Chele to Cosmics. Their debut album “Bapre bap” realeased in October of 2008 in Bangladesh under the label "Core Entertainment". “Bapre bap” was produced by the well known "Double R" (Rajib Rahman)who also produced other bengali artists such as Stoic Bliss & DVS . Critics, especially young rap fans are craving great reviews of the songs from this album, as the Cosmics are just new emerging artist.After the realese of "Bapre Bap" Cosmics performed in various street fairs, cultural shows,charity events,college shows etc. promoting their album.
Currently they are working on their second album working with a well known young producer/singer name Rated PG, where they are creating songs to match the demands of their young fan base and older fan base.
