I hope these songs will be a blessing to you.
Bobby has been building and playing Appalachian Dulcimers (otherwise known as Mountain dulcimers, lap dulcimers, fretted dulcimers, and Hogfiddles, among other names), since 2006. He plays noter/drone style mostly, and melody/drone/fingerdance style playing on occasion. Lately he has been experimenting with chord accompaniment with lead breaks using the noter or fingerdance style on the dulcimer. He enjoys singing and playing the dulcimer, and tenor guitar, as well as other folk instruments he makes. He especially likes the older Gospel and Folk songs and singing Acapella. His dulcimer playing consists mostly of playing diatonic fretted dulcimers, in whatever tuning suits the need. DAA, DAC, EBA, etc. He mostly sings and plays old time Gospel and/or folk songs, and enjoys messing around with Audacity and recording. He also enjoys going to the local nursing home and singing for the residents there, with my fellow Church and band members.
He is Husband to Eilene, Dad to Anthony. Note from Bobby: I'm glad to be here. Good to meet you. In case you haven't noticed I Love Jesus. And I love you. I enjoy serving the Lord, playing and making my Dulcimers and other instruments, (like playing more).
Additionally: Bobby is a member of the Slate Creek Gospel Singers. Along with friends: Danny Stiltner- Guitar/Lead and backup vocals... Chuck Stacy- Guitar/Lead and backup vocals... along with other singers and musicians from time to time, they go to the local nursing home and perform for the residents there.
