The Harmed Brothers are an Americana/Folk-Rock/Indiegrass group based out of Eugene, Oregon. Made up of guitarist/vocalist Ray Vietti, banjoist/pianist/vocalist Alex Salcido, upright bassist Zach Kilmer and drummer Ben Kilmer, The Harmed Brothers create a sound both melodic and raucous, gutsy and vulnerable and are often compared to groups such as The Avett Brothers and the highly influential Uncle Tupelo. Anyone who's heard and/or seen them live can experience those dynamics alive well in both their high energy, string snapping, boot stomping live performances and heartfelt storytelling which equally showcase the songwriting duo that is Vietti and Salcido.
The band first popped up under the radar with their debut, 2010's "All The Lies You Wanna Hear." The "Brothers'" independently released debut effort, recorded in the small, beautiful forest town of Cottage Grove, Oregon, has since garnered many gracious reviews across the board, turning heads and calling attention to a group of passionate and wonderful storytellers.
The Eugene quartet has since been referred by some as one of the hardest working up-and-coming touring bands on the road today. In 2011, The Harmed Brothers agreed to release their sophomore release, "Come Morning," and took a few days off from their stretch of tour in mid-February 2012, stopping in St. Louis, MO to complete it.
In May 2012, after a year's worth of recording, scrapping, constant touring and re-recording, The Harmed Brothers and Oklahoma City, OK label LackPro Records proudly and finally released the Harmed Brothers' sophomore release, "Come Morning," now available on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby and of course at their live shows, coming to a town near you sometime soon.
