Jeff LaBansky is a veteran of the NorthWest rock scene. He has established a unique sound and is well-known for his music and style - his Flying-V is widely recognized and respected on the rock circuit. Leaving the Portland area for Los Angeles, he joined forces with drummer Steve Riley (W.A.S.P., L.A. Guns) and formed The Lawyers, releasing a self-titled lp before collaborating with Angel members, singer Frank DiMino and drummer Barry Brandt in the Ruffians.
Additionally, Jeff has worked with Frankie Banali and Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot), Paul Raymond (Michael Schenker Group), Phil Chen (a sometime bassist for Rod Stewart and Jeff Beck), and Marq Torein (BulletBoys).
Since his return to Portland in 1984, Jeff released the self-titled "LABANSKY" and "Velvet Crush". His last project, 28if, released in 1999, produced by Tommy Thayer and with Eric Singer on drums, features 'Jade,' written for his daughter. His melodic, yet hard rock riffs and powerful voice make music that is not to be missed.
In late 2010 and during 2011 Jeff returned to the studio to record new material for an upcoming, highly-anticpated release.
